Living Anthroposophy : The Mystery School of the heart

Why is meditation important?

Just as one can clearly see the complexity of the material world, one can also discern a complexity within relationship. Human relationships with each other, human relationships with societal structures, governing organizations/politics, the earth etc.

Just as there are laws within the physical world, so too are there laws within the unseen/spiritual world. Whereas we go to school, study scientific journals, study material phenomena etc. to determine the nature, functionality, and  laws of the material world, in order to understand, discern, and live in accordance with the laws of the spiritual world, we must embark on a study of our own lives and relationships.

In order to do this we must sit, allow the concrete mind to become still so that the consciousness, or Supermind, can step into the drivers seat. The law & function we are trying to discern in this process emanates from our heart, it has been with us, guiding us in this life from the beginning of our incarnation. It is what allows us to discern “right from wrong”. Some people refer to this as “Christ consciousness” or simply the conscience. This spiritual heart of ours issues forth as a radiant fire, our task as followers of the hearts law, is to fully unlock this power from within and allow it to penetrate and transform relationships on the material plane.

The nature of this fire, this love, this law is complex, just as is the physical world. It is written into the course of human evolution that the light emanating from this source shall become a guidepost for humans to follow. In order to follow this path as individuals we must enter into the unseen world consciously, we must begin a path of study that can only be discerned here in this non physical space. This is the Mystery School of the Heart, this is Living Anthroposophy, and it is available to anyone who wishes to enter its halls of learning.
