Basics of the sitting/walking meditation
Part One: Sitting
In the first part of the meditation (20 min seated)
a bell is rung to begin.
One invokes the personal Divine Mother by breathing
gratitude into the heart & allowing the mind to become stilled.
This is a process of body awareness, feeling into the sensation of
the space that the body is occupying.
Thinking here is not necessary or desired.
When thoughts arise they are greeted with loving indifference
then the awareness is brought back into heart/body/breath.
The only exception to this rules is the contemplation of the
reality that “without the seed given to me at birth
I would not be doing this meditation.”
In this way, the mother is fused with a concrete sensation of self.
Next, the awarenes/felt sensation is expanded
into the area surrounding the body.
An awareness of the higher/subtle bodies/elemental beings is invoked.
There is no judgment in this state, the awareness is simply expanded
into the space around you. Again when ANY thoughts arise that
pull the consciousness away from the pure energetic space that it occupies,
these are greeted with love and allowed to dissipate.
This State is maintained for the remainder of the meditation.
At the end of the seated portion of the meditation (20 min),
one writes down any thoughts that arise (if there are any).
Part Two: Walking Meditation
Once all compelling thoughts within the consciousness have been
written down (an ongoing journal solely for this purpose is highly recommended),
one either walks a pre-chosen path or takes a spontaneously chosen route.
In either case the departure time is noted and one either sets a timer for 10 minutes
or checks their watch until 10 minutes has passed (experiment with this).
During this “walk” the individual remains in a non judgmental state
and continues to focus the consciousness in the heart and on the
elemental beings surrounding them.
Interactions with others in this space (if there are any) should by as much as
possible non judgmental. (There is an advanced form of this meditation where
one finds a person to interview during the walk, in this non judgmental way).
At the end of the 10 minutes one walks back to the origin in the same manner and the bell is rung.
At this point one again writes down anything that one feels compelled to.
Once this is complete it is optional to discuss the experience with the other(s)
involved.
*Additional notes on the walking portion.
If you are doing this meditation on your own, the walking portion can be considerably longer,
however if you are doing this with others, those involved should refrain from interacting with one another
until after the meditation is finished.
*The particulars of the meditation process described above are not set in stone.
This is a process that will allow an individual to begin to experience the consciousness of the human being.
The MOST IMPORTANT part is to refrain from judgmental thinking and to focus the awareness in
the heart/body/surrounding field during the entire process.
